It is in the permalinks where you tell WordPress how to display the posts or pages in the URL of the your website. The default is not very explanatory. (Example: https://www.ainsworthetc.com/?p=123). To support search optimization, it is suggested that you use the setting Post name.  One other note: occasionally you may install a plugin that askes you to update the permalinks.  All you need to do is go into Settings->Permalinks and click on the Save button at the bottom of the setup screen.  Here is a screenshot.
